After being inspired by Jason Eppink's pixelators --> pixelator
( massive respect <3 )

I designed our soft launch of the aw09 collections (and ss08 australian collections) in our Belinda shoe store.

The colour works well behind a predominantly black set of collections and adds a summery kick to the window... This is important, as its combating the resistance we often find when launching our winter season in the beginnings of the blazing Aussie summer..

My wednesday inspiration email today was driven by the overall greyness in sydney for the last couple of days. They are some pics i took of mainly grey moments on my travels over the last month.. hopefully they will abate the rain gods and throw us back to colour tomorrow! xx

Summer Lovin..

today, while waiting for the arrival of garden furniture to finish a display from aussie swimwear designers Anna and Boy, we had some fun with our male mannequin and the synthetic grass to be used for the installation..

He lay there, in his own private garden scene through lunchtime, reminding us all how good summer is:)

Romance was born @ the corner shop

As a part of The Corner Shop events series, we have been working with young designers to create amazing installations within The Corner Shop in the Strand Arcade..
Romance was born is our latest in this series; Changing our store into a tribal wedding filled with their current NAMASTE ready to wear and one off catwalk pieces..
The installation has to be seen to be fully apprieciated due to its intricate detailing and the layering of props/fashion/ideas/and Del Kathryn motifs... as Anna and Luke say 'More is more'.. lol what a great inspiration to work under!
here are some pics:)

My greatest respect to the Romance was Born crew, who were not only excellently talented in their vision and installation set up, but inspired us all to get 'namasted' up and have a good time.
