school girl crush at the Belinda MLC...
In keeping with all the punk rock feeling out there..(i thought it was good to go a bit nastier after our refined ribbon display)... and the fact im crazy in love..
i decided to 'scratch' the names of all our designers into the window (so to speak) inside hearts.. i used old-school biro colours (black and blue) so that the whole school girl crush feel was stronger.. theres something so fun in doing a low budget window that speaks of the raw desire we feel for some designers!

moments in the strand#2
i just re-did the Strand arcade corner shop runway, so i thought i would share some of the new moments..
and then i got really into a pirate and wenches theme:) At the moment we have new collections in by isabel marant, phillip lim, humanoid, vanessa bruno and luella, so its a fun time to be dressing mannequins... and the nautical theme lurks behind the scenes throughout each collection.. so i let it shine in our group of girls:) maybe they are more like city pirates.. and foxy ladies.. but either way it was a nice day to be dressing outfits for sure.

corner shop mag installation
after taking down our excellent xmas tree, we wanted to keep the magazines and show off how good they were:) they were not really viewed from their best angle (above) when they were the structure for the tree..
so we took out all the mannequins and table from the entrance to the store and worked on a display with the mags and an old birdcage we had..
all in all, a very fun time:)

thursday inspiration 8/1/09
Happy Returns lovely window people! finally i am back in the online community.. and hope you have all been very well!
one of my new years resolutions was to blog at least twice a week.. i am put to shame by excellently serious bloggers from my fav blogs like the wooster collective and modelizing.. (we are not worthy)...so expect at least 1 window blog and 1 thursday inspiration blog each week, and anything more well, i can hope!
this thursday inspiration is all about black and white..'
