wednesday inspirations

for the last 6 months, i have been sending out a weekly email called 'wednesday inspiration' to friends and frenemies about things that have inspired me that Wednesday.
It was done as a break in the week for me and the receivers, a moment to enjoy the imagery in our lives and realign for the rest of the week.. now i also get reply imagery and exchanges and the inspirational flow continues..

the strand <3 marc by marc

today i was in the strand.. we just received the marc by marc jacobs and had alot of fun dressing mannies..

today i'm respecting kids who dress themselves...

i firmly believe that every good designer has very few aesthetic boundaries but alot of aesthetic judgment as to what they love and what they dont..

here's to parents who don't stifle their kids! :)

Dion Lee Installation

As promised the Dion Lee installation - unfortunately the installation was heavily based on lighting - which doesn't show strongly in the first photo..x

Dion Lee is currently showing (and selling) his first collection in the corner shop in the strand. The hanging installation showcasing his work runs through the windows and central rack.. (i promise pics coming 2moro of the installation.. sorry)

The Clothes are FAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBULOUS darling .. no seriously they rock, as does Dion who is both talented and lovely!

selling for $1500 this is one of the finds i have enjoyed this week..

besides that i have been awol as i lost my computer for 3 days at an airport!!! but now that we have been reunited i can get back on the blog! sorry for the lapse!
